I’ve noticed that my cat sometimes dribbles a little when she’s purring and getting cuddles. It’s not a lot, just a few drops, but I’m curious why this happens. Is it normal for cats to drool when they’re happy, or could it be a sign of something else? I’ve heard mixed opinions, so I’d love to hear from other cat owners who’ve experienced this.

My cat does this too! The vet told me it’s usually just a sign of extreme relaxation, like when they’re so content they forget to swallow. It’s similar to how some humans might drool a little in their sleep. As long as it’s not excessive or accompanied by other symptoms, it’s perfectly normal.
